Texas housing market through the numbers of Q3

The sales slump isn’t particular to San Antonio only. Home sales in Austin declined 24.05% between third quarter 2009 and 2010. In Dallas Sales were down 25.58% over the same period. Texas foreclosures through the numbers of RealtyTrac

The latest RealtyTrac report shows a total of 34,187 foreclosure filings on Texas properties. This includes default notices, scheduled auctions and bank repossessions during the third quarter and represents a 4 percent increase from the previous quarter and 15 percent up from the third quarter of 2009. Commercial foreclosures are up at their two decades high

2010 brought in the commercial segment lots of foreclosure filings. During the first 10 months of the year foreclosure postings jumped 39% with miscellaneous commercial buildings, industrial buildings and lands.
